I'd been feeling a little down the whole of today, and this had slightly more to do than with just the weather (que depressing song to sad story that's not told ...). I decided to step out for some retail therapy and found me the prettiest shoes (that I'll certainly have on tommorrow). I'm smiling from ear to ear and even the weather has improved.
What do you do to cheer yourself up?

Oh good lord somebody needs to shoot me! All along I have been thinking you are male till I saw the shoes! Shame on me.
I eat chips to cheer myself up! Oh and I watch TV.
LOL!! Digzer is female! I assure you I'm no transvestite (there's a rather disturbing pic I saw of some pumped jamaa in tiny shorts, heels and a bag ...)
Eating yes ... another sinful fave but I go for chocolate.
I waaaant! Digzer which shoe shop is this?! I would love to visit them when next I'm in Nairobi. So far I only know Shoe Palace and Citywalk and I have a few pieces from them. Msa too there's all these beautiful sandals and stuff but variety is a good thing.
For quick cheer a sugar fix will do.There is this ka-sticky something they sell at Dormans I forget it's name. Haki it's like 200% sugar.
Otherwise I go to the beach, read, eat chips with copious amounts of ketchup and chilli, drink something, doze off, wake up, read........ No it's not expensive. That is just one huge misconception. With beach hotels things gets thick when you're paying for accommodation. Or if you're a guzzler.
Over lunch I walk from the office to the seafront and read something or just stare.
Shiko you make me want to live in coasto! Sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Lol @ 200% sugar!
With shoes it's just a matter of trial and error; sometimes you get them sometimes you don't. Like I keep seeing guys with really nice boots all tell me come from Bata and yet when I go there, I don't see anything I like! Go figure!
